Ethan is a blacksmith from Alberta, Canada. He studied the “Tools to Make Tools” curriculum under Alec Steele at age 13. He has had the privilege of working with amazing makers from around North America such as Shawn Cunningham, Matt Marti, Brent Bailey, John Little, Peter Braspenninx, Paul Krzyszkowski, Will Stelter etc, but other than that, he is self-taught.
At the moment, Ethan specializes in making quality tools for the blacksmith, farrier, and knife-maker, making damascus and mosaic steel, and teaching classes. He also has a prime interest in industrial forging, antique equipment of all kinds, and he is a certified steam power-engineer in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
